To add a new design in Orbit Asset, simply click on the button available at the bottom right of the screen and select: Design or preparatory work.
A new family is always created with at least one new asset. For this the user can choose between :
- Project in progress: This status means that no decision to file or abandon has been made yet.
- Filing in progress: This status means that a decision to file a patent has been made, but the filing procedure is still in progress.
- Protection filed: This status means that a decision has been made to file a design (filing number and date is required)
