To indicate that a trademark is abandoned in Orbit Asset, simply go to the trademark page and select in the options (three-dot button on the right) "Abandon Trademark".
The system will then allow you to select several types of abandonment:
- Abandoned
- Expired
- Refused
- Withdrawn
- Ended
In all cases, after selecting the type of abandonment, the system will automatically close the tasks in progress associated with this trademark (the tasks will remain visible but with the status "Done", all documents or comments will be kept).
It is also possible to go back by clicking on the "reinstate trademark" button. This action will restore the status of the trademark before the abandonment and will open the tasks that were closed during the abandonment process.
