The system allows two ways to connect your patents to the public database. Both modes are not using the same search algorithm:

• Manual mode: On the "Update suggestion" page of a patent family it is possible to manually connect a patent.

This way the "Easy Search" algorithm developed by Orbit Intelligence is used, which allows a search without a predefined format. If there are several possible results, the user can select the right result manually.

• Automatic mode: This mode is launched automatically every week.

This way allows a stricter search limiting a maximum of multiple results to allow an optimized connection rate.
