Orbit Asset provides an advanced search system to make sure you can retrieve different matters: dockets, patents, trademarks, and other IP rights in an easy to do manner.
The search function can be found at the top of the Portfolio view above your IP listings:
By clicking on this search bar you will have the option to open the advanced search page and begin searching for the matters that are important to you.
This will allow you to add multiple fields, run boolean searches, search via tags or reference numbers (docket number, family tags, trademark tags, etc.).
Create your search request
In the “Search” tab, select the wanted field to search and complete your search.
- Select the field’s level (Families, Patents, Trademarks…)
- Select the wanted fields to search
Search history & Favorite search requests
We also provide a search history to store potentially relevant searches that can be saved for later use:
- In the “Search History” tab, find your past search requests and it is possible to relaunch them by clicking on them.
- It is also possible to add them in the “Save Search” tab by clicking on “Save Search”. The “Save Search” will be available in the “Save Search” tab.
Predefined search request:
The predefined searches will be extremely helpful for finding your national stage filings and PCT extensions with ease.
In the “Predefined Search” tab, find preset search for listing patent with the next :
- 12 months extension deadline: This request will list all families with a 12 months extension delay in the following x months
- 30 months extension deadline: This request will list all families with a PCT and 30 months extension delay in the following x months
